Despite outfield injuries, the Cardinals were able to take care of another poor baseball team and continue to take advantage of their friendly scheduling that dates back to mid-April thanks in large part to Thomas J. Pham seeing the ball extremely well. Of course the light schedule has to end, but not before the Birds head to Miami to play another sub-.500 team. The Marlins series starts Monday, May, 8th and runs through the 10th with all games starting @ 6pm. NBA Playoffs!

The second round is in full force, and for Cleveland fans it is already an afterthought as Lebron and Co. have flipped a couple of switches and burned through the first two rounds of the Eastern Conference. They’ll Post Up for a week and watch the Wizards and Celtics dogfight it out for the opportunity to pretend they have a chance at going to the Finals. In the West, the Warriors are taking a page out of the Cleveland handbook and smoking through their opponents with little regard while doing what you’re not “supposed” to do and totally looking forward to the next matchup. That will be against either the Rockets or Spurs who similarly are entrenched in their own version of the Wiz/Celts dogfight, but with a chance of actually getting to the Finals.
