Happy Bastille Day

It might not be July 4th anymore, but it is July 14th… and that means its Bastille Day for all you history buffs out there! The French have a couple good things going for them inlcluding: Baguette bread, wine, any and all pastries, Daft Punk (yeah, they’re a french band), the menage a trois, SOME cheeses… the majority of them are rancid, and a great soccer team.
We’ll applaud Les Bleus for their Euro Cup performance. They knocked off the defending World Cup Champions and they thoroughly outplayed Portugal in the finals. Antoine Griezmann was the tourney’s leading goal scorer. Hugo Loris was a stud all tournament between the pipes. Paul Pogba is turning into one of the best players in the world. The French soccer team is gonna be a powerhouse in the next World Cup.
Anyways, in recognition of Bastille Day, The Best Sports Bar in STL is offering a special on the best American style cheese bread in town (Post-its) as a salute. So come up to Sauce Magazine’s recently awarded Favorite Sports Bar in St.Louis for half off an order of Post-Its on this wonderful French Holiday that likely no one else in STL is celebrating.
