5 Star Contests

 

The 5 Star Initiative was designed as a method of incentivizing team members at The Post to go above and beyond to offer 5 star service to each and every one of our guests.  The initiative also serves to add some fun and friendly competition between team members!

The Initiative is comprised of two 3 month long seasons throughout the calendar year.

Several contests exist over the course of these seasons to reward staff members for their participation in the Initiative.

Monthly Contests

Rewards

$2500 in total rewards available each month!!!

FOH

  • Servers & Bartenders are rewarded for their proportionate share of reviews company wide.  Ex:  Sally Server accounts for 5% of reviews company wide.  Sally Server would receive 5% of the FOH company bonus pool that month.
  • Monthly Company Bonus Pool = $1600

BOH

  • Each Team Member (FOH, BOH & MGMT) votes for the 3 BOH team members that most exemplified the 5 star mentality over the last month at their respective store.
  • Top 3 BOH team members at the top 3 stores each receive $100

Monthly Contest Qualifiers

FOH Qualifiers
A store must meet the following minimum requirements during the month for FOH members to be eligible for rewards

  • 50 total public reviews
  • 4.7 overall star rating
  • Less than 5 total negative reviews (1 and 2 star reviews)
  • Last place store based on overall star rating is automatically disqualified
  • Failing to submit a 5 Star BOH Team Member vote within 6 days of the month end disqualifies an individual team member from that month’s rewards pool

BOH Qualifiers
A store must meet the following minimum requirements during the month for BOH members to be eligible for rewards

  • 4.7 overall star rating
  • 4.7 food rating
  • Less than 5 total negative reviews (1 and 2 star reviews)
  • Last place store based on food rating is automatically disqualified
  • Failing to submit a 5 Star BOH Team Member vote within 6 days of the month end disqualifies an individual team member from that month’s rewards pool

New Hire Qualifiers

  • New hires (BOH & FOH) must have worked an entire pay cycle before becoming eligible for rewards

Season Contest

Store with highest overall star rating over the course of the season is deemed the season champion.

Season Champion Rewards

  • A team outing!!!  3 options will be proposed for the team to vote upon.
  • Each Manager receives 2 all inclusive event tickets to an event (concert, sporting event, etc) of their choice (subject to availability). Event must occur before end of the following 5 Star Season (i.e. 6 month window)
  • Top two scoring FOH Team Members over the season each receive $100
  • Top two vote getting BOH Team Members over the season each receive $100

Season Contest Qualifiers

Store Qualifiers
A store must meet the following minimum requirements during the season to be eligible for season rewards

  • 150 total public reviews
  • 4.7 overall star rating
  • 4.7 food rating
  • Less than 15 total negative reviews (1 and 2 star reviews)

Guest Incentives

The following incentive exists for guests to provide feedback during the 5 Star Season.

  • $50 gift card raffle per store

5 Star Initiative Guest Feedback winners will be announced via Facebook each month.

Scoreboards

Scoreboards are updated automatically.  Private reviews are updated every 15 minutes.  Public reviews are updated every 2 hours

  • Location Scoreboard displays all store level information used for store qualifiers and overall star rating rankings
  • FOH Scoreboard displays review quantities by team member along with projected bonus distribution amounts
  • BOH Scoreboard displays total votes for each BOH team member by location.  Vote takes place after month end, so scoreboard is static until after the end of the month
