Tonight is the night! Blues v. Wild in Game 4 at home starting @ 8:30pm. It’s a relatively relaxed feeling being up 3-0 knowing it’s anything but a must-win for the Note, but a first round sweep against a tough Minnesota hockey club sure would be nice. A solid 2 game win streak has the Cardinals and their fans looking up as the schedule for about the next month is extremely favorable for the local team. A sweep of the bucs would move them into a tie with the swashbucklers for fourth place in the division and within striking distance of all the other teams they are currently trailing. This stretch of weeks will be vital for the team’s confidence, similar to the Blues kicking A at the end of their regular season and using that momentum into the POST-season. Hopefully the Birds take advantage with the finale of the Pirates series this afternoon at 12:45pm.
