As for baseball, the Cardinals continue their overall rollercoaster ride, which is a relative phrase since they’re very much in the playoff race. With some of their biggest hitters due back as soon as this week (Carpenter, Moss), and a soft early-August schedule, the Cardinals need to get back to their ways of dominating weaker opponents and gain some ground in their wild card huntings. The Post is a great place to watch their steady climb…all the way to a wild card game win and an upset of the Cubs in the NLDS (calling it!).
