As for baseball, the two losses to Miami were years ago, and the Cardinals have already hit the reset button and are set to rock the soft spot in their schedule. 7 out of 9 wins would be nice, but we’ll likely need at least 6. It won’t be easy with All-Star SS Aledmys Diaz out with injury (not good), but hopefully the returns of Moss and Carpenter, as well as the new edition of Zach Duke (picked someone up without using the term “low hanging fruit”!) can carry us until the rookie phenom can return. Catch the action against the Reds at 6:10pm and enjoy our Cardinal’s Ticket Giveaway tonight, as well as 22oz drink specials, and comfortable extra padded seating with TV’s everywhere! Finally, Dream Team 12 squeaked by Nigeria in their final tuneup before Rio, 110-66. Team USA basketball, though not fully stacked, is still actually fully stacked even without some of the best players in the world because the United States is really good at basketball with all-world talent beyond any 12-man roster. We’ll follow the fun at The Post along with all your favorite Olympic pastimes (Table Tennis!!) all month long!
