Comeback Cards!

What a comeback from your St. Louis Cardinals! Down to one out in the ninth with another potential loss to another losing team, and low and behold, Birds win! Thanks to the troopers at The Post last night that accidentally stuck around to watch the amazing finale. We all were certainly rewarded with the strangeness of it. Now, of course, we must see if this (along with Carpenter’s return) will be the stepping stone to better play. We’ve been lucky the competition for the second wild card spot has all been mid-summer idlers as well. So drink it in Cardinals fans, ‘cuz the team is tied for a playoff spot as we speak with plenty of baseball remaining, including a nice measuring stick series in Wrigley Field this weekend.
Before the fun kicks off in Wrigley, watch the team roll through Cincinnati now that they’re running on a high from last night’s win.
